D.R.S. Under Construction

    WV ADAPT members will meet with the director of Rehabilitation Services James Jeffers on Tuesday, July 21 at 2:20 p.m. at the Rehabilitation center in Institute.  We want to let him know Rehab isn't working!!!  An update will be provided on this page.

    On Tuesday March 10th WV ADAPT members gathered at the Division of Rehabilitation Services Office (DRS) to express their discontent with the current status of Rehab services here in W.V.
    During the sitin Linda Lutman reluctantly agreed, after a heated debate, to sign off on a date and time for a meeting with several ADAPT members.  That meeting will be held on Friday March 20th at 1:30 p.m. at the D.R.S. Office.
    Please let us know about your conserns so we can get them on the table, and if you would like to come and support us call or e-mail us soon.

As a result of our July 21st meeting with DRS director James Jeffers he has supported our demand that CAP training be provided throughout the state and has strongly suggested that this endeavor be undertaken by West Virginia Advocates in a letter to program director Susan Edwards dated August 7th.
