Here is a picture of me (Ken Ervin) sitting next to a flagpole on the grounds of Metheny's School and Hospital. Where i was a resident for four and a half years.

A flag symbolizes the freedom and choice granted to all citizens of the United States. A flag on the grounds of an institution which houses 146 people who could easily live in the community, flag/institution: which one of these things does not belong!? People with disabilities in New Jersey must stand up and fight the unnessary imprisonment of their brothers and sisters.
