We stayed at Port Orleans, one of the cheaper Disney hotels. All Disney hotels follow some kind of theme. Port Orleans is supposed to look like a New Orleans neighborhood. There are 5 buildings, and each one looks different. This is one of the courtyards between the buildings.
You can use Disney busses to get around if you stay at a Disney hotel. We used them most of the time.
