| Walt Disney World
We actually didn't go to any parks the
first day. We stopped at Blue Springs State Park, about 45 minutes from
Disney. It is a Florida state park. A huge natural spring comes up
there, and flows into the James River. The spring water is warm, and
lots of manatees come there in the winter. We saw several, but didn't
take any good pictures. So, you get to see the lovely Laura with her
mouse ears!
Once we got to Disney World, we went to the Wilderness Lodge for lunch.
It is designed to look like the hotel at Yellowstone, Wyoming -
complete with geysers and hot springs! A little more expensive than
Port Orleans hotel (where we stayed), and a little busier. We had a
nice lunch, the waiter, "Jim Dandy", goofed around with the girls. He
acted like Jim Cary, but Amy thought he was trying to be Woody from
"Toy Story".
