Monday (1/19) was an "early-entry" day at the Magic Kingdom. If you are staying at a Disney hotel, you can get in to the park an hour before off-site guests. When we were here two years ago, it really helped. We could ride lots of rides early, then look around and explore after the lines got long. It seemed like more people were taking advantage of early-entry. It didn't help as much this time.
Amy's first stop was Dumbo! Dumbo was her favorite ride the last time, and she was excited to go there first. We thought it was fair to let her ride something first, because she wouldn't want to ride the faster rides. Huh! After I begged her to ride the Barnstormer roller coaster, she wanted to ride ALL the fast rides! Now, her favorite is Splash Mountain! (Mine, too!)
