Pro Start/Food Management

Pro Start/Food Management(Two year program for 11 & 12 grade)  This course prepares the student with the basic competencies needed for skilled work in all areas of the food service industry.  Possible job options after training include the following:  kitchen helper, waiter/waitress, host/hostess, cook, and baker.  Primary skills for management are included.  (2 or 3 Period Class)

Additional Information:

****Pro Start two year completers with 400 hours paid work in a restaurant may be elgible to take a National Certification Test by NRA (National Restaurant Association.)  Scholarships are available.
