A leader in the State of West Virginia in the area of Language Arts, this department sets the tone for excellence in academics at North Marion High School. As the students move to a post-secondary education, many return to proclaim the advanced state of the knowledge they possess in comparision to other students.
Members of the Language Arts Department include Chairperson Joy Gaines, Maria Cuecha, Rhonda Dean, Kristen DeVaul, Nancy Haddix manning the Library, Mary Ann Mullenax, Chrissy Menear, Amy Pruitte, Penny Roberts, Carol White, and newcomer Jessica Ford.
