A leader in the State of West Virginia in the area of Language Arts, this department sets the tone for excellence in academics at North Marion High School. As the students move to a post-secondary education, many return to proclaim their readiness in these areas in comparision to other students from around the state and nation.
Members of the Language Arts Department include Chairperson Joy Gaines,Teresa Baxer, Amy Carpenter, Kristen DeVaul, Rhonda Dean, Nancy Haddix, Mary Ann Mullenax, Chrissy Menear, Bill Stalnaker, and Carol White.
